Sky and ocean melt together in greyness. A chain of islands glides into the picture, gradually dividing water and the sky. The 180° scan shows an empty landscape in which time and space appear frozen in a silver balance. One after another, fragments of neighbouring islands unfold to be finally blotted out by a promontory shoving its black mass slowly into the foreground.
