Giardini di Nifa, 2010 - 2013

Fineartprint, 85cm x 125cm, 2012

Over a period of three years, during changing seasons and times of day, Christoph Brech photographed the ruins of the medieval city of Ninfa, situated in the Latium Plains south of Rome.  The photographs taken in the city’s gardens, which were designed in the English style, record the cyclic course of nature and the uninterrupted process of deterioration in the city and its surroundings.
